The
Pickup |
Double-sided adhesive tape works well to hold the pickup
in place. Make sure that the pickups metal side faces
the tape. For less permanent installations, use a piece of
gaffers tape, pressing it firmly around the pickup to
ensure that it is tight against the soundboard. Tape the cord
to the top to keep it from rattling.

| Jack |
The 1/4" jack is
taped to the narrow side of the instrument using a self-adhesive
dual-lock hook-and-loop strip. |
| Usage Tips |
The BIG SoundSpot-equipped
hammer dulcimer can be plugged into any amplifier or P.A. For
extra control, a preamp can be beneficial.
Note: You can run the BIG SoundSpots output to an electronic
tuner to aid tuning the instrument. For P.A. and recording applications, a high-quality direct box such as as the D-TAR Solstice or Equinox is suggested. |
